Common faults front wheel adjustment

The maximum deflection angle (steering angle) of the front wheel affects the steering radius (also known as passing radius) when the car turns. The larger the deflection angle is, the smaller the steering radius is, and the stronger the mobility of the car is.

The maximum deflection angle of the front wheel is adjusted by the limit screw on the front axle. The method is as follows: jack up the front axle, turn the steering wheel to deflect the front wheel to 8 ~ 10mm away from the collision object (fender, tie rod, frame, etc.), turn the limit screw to limit the wheel to this position. At this time, the included angle between the center line of tire landing track and the center line of tire landing track when driving in a straight line is the maximum deflection angle. The maximum deflection angle and minimum turning radius of various models are different. Refer to the vehicle's operation manual before adjustment.
